The location was perfect, with easy access to the ski lift and restaurants. The rooms were well-maintained and surprisingly luxurious considering the price. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the special yogurt they got for me was a nice touch. Despite being on the main entrance street, the hotel was quiet at night and offered a peaceful view of the lake. I highly recommend this hotel for a ski vacation that won't break the bank!

The Hotel Obersee has a good location, you can easily reach the 'downtown' Arosa by feet and also the ski resort
It was overpriced compared to other Ski resorts in Switzerland (e.g. Gstaad)

This hotel is a gem in a beautiful location. The attention to detail and friendly staff make for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The rooms, although not the most enchanting in terms of view, are clean and modern, and the breakfast with a view to the mountains is a great way to start the day. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the included breakfast.
All in all, everything was absolutely fine.

Friendly staff. Nice breakfast although not overwhelming but that is not necessary anyway. Close to Ausser Arosa and the gondola (about 5 min walking).
Boring building. A tad old. Extremely flat pillows.

The breakfast buffet had a decent variety and was quite filling. The hotel is conveniently located close to the ski lifts and train station. The staff was generally friendly and approachable.
The wifi was extremely slow and practically unusable. The pillows were too soft and offered no support, which made for an uncomfortable sleep.

The location of Obersee Hotel is very good
Upon arrival to check-in the reception person told us to go upstairs to check-in at the machine. This is a 24/7 machine that really only should belong at airports. There was no hot water in the morning, and when we went to reception to find out what the problem was, it was unmanned and a small note to contact some person if one needed anything. We went for a walk in the hope that when we returned the reception would be manned again, which it was. The reception person said that the hot water would be on in an hour. I didnt like the fact there was no communication, and it was all very blase. Upon checking out (during the hotel specified hours), the reception was again unmanned, with the same note tapped to the counter. In my opinion, at least have someone in reception during checkout hours. Very basic, and very expensive for what you get, which is very lilttle. Breakfast was poor, the cheese had clearly been standing out for a while.

The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to the train station, main street, and ski lifts. The breakfast was good, with a decent variety of food. the staff was friendly and welcoming.
The room lacked practicality and comfort, with no hooks or shelves in the bathroom, and the balcony furniture was not comfortable. the noise from corridor doors slamming could be disruptive at times.

The hotel's proximity to the main station and ski lifts, along with the convenience of a nearby bus stop for accessing Hornli, made it an ideal location. The restaurant served delicious dinners and the lounge had a great selection of craft beers. The comfortable bed and excellent room lighting were standout features, especially considering the lack of nearby buildings. Being close to the train station and receiving tickets for cable cars made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Arosa. this hotel offered incredible value for money - I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. Secondly, the location was absolutely perfect. Situated right by the ski lifts, I had easy access to the slopes and enjoyed breathtaking views of the mountains from my room. Lastly, the staff were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay.
Although everything was great, I believe the hotel could improve the shower area. While it was fine for average height people, taller guests might find it uncomfortable due to the low ceiling.

The hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from the train station and ski hire facilities, making it a perfect choice for ski enthusiasts. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a delightful stay. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that guarantee a good night's sleep. Additionally, the included breakfast offers a good variety of options to start the day off right.
There was one minor inconvenience - the noise from the night club in the basement, which affected some guests staying on the higher floors. However, for those who didn't mind the bass, it turned out to be quite an enjoyable night.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main ski area, with the main gondola and cable cars nearby. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a good variety, with choice of breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurts. The balcony provides wonderful views of the surrounding area, making it a great spot to relax after a day of skiing. The hotel also offers a steam room and sauna for guests to enjoy.
The hotel's credit card machine did not work with American credit cards, resulting in difficulties for some guests.
